A Tale of Love

Ah, first day? Someone asked me Yes. I replied Forwarding hand he said ‘My name is Anirudh….Anirudh khadka.   ‘Hi I’m Sopnil…..Sopnil Shah’    Shaking hand I said in same style ‘Unique name’, he said   I nodded.  This was the first day I meet Anirudh. Even then I was unaware that this short acquaintance at college entrance would lead to a life time of friendship. I was very happy to find friend like him. Day by day our friendship bequeathed us new experience and spirit. That day I was invited to Anirudh’s house. His mother told me that he always chitchats about me. I felt very happy to hear that. Like all typical Nepalese mothers she began to ask about my family, parents and I kept on answering. At same time pressure cooker disturbed our conversation…hiss hiss… hiss…..hiss….. ‘Just a minute babu I will come’ she said and headed towards kitchen. Taking benefit of situation I and Anirudh went to his room.  I look around; his room was w...

The Rainbow

You call it rainbow but that’s my childhood days It’s a story before many age Blue, yellow and red with my friends Orange, indigo and violet I blew myself Without my knowledge the green escape Those star I count is caged in red Indigo takes away my flower bed My mother’s tale fly with green Inside violet those summer scene Blue stole that living train Orange carries my dance in rain Yellow snatch that paper plane They fly without returning my breath They took away my childhood days Some day when I ascend to heaven Surely, I will catch those balloons again

Heart of Giving

M aybe I have the bad tendency to find always people that indeed have some problems in their life but they are rather like me and they are nice. They're not being like the most others. And well, I just meet them; I'm not constantly looking out for such people. I'm someone that quickly starts to honestly care about a person and I always try to help the best I can..... And what can I help, I can help with words -the most people I meet, and they are okay. I just got words to help and it's always depending on it if they are in touch with me or not. Whenever one of them is in bad trouble, or even close to something like killing themselves I wish I could get there somehow and take care of them or so I could really do something! Not just sit here and wait for a message, having to guess if they're still ok or not. It makes me go crazy when I am impotent to help people.     Its afternoon already. The sun is radiating on his face and his throat is dehydrated. But he ca...

Creating New Nepal

Communism supposes that everyone can have an equal share in things such as wealth. Obviously, this seems ideal, genuinely it is impractical. In nature we see there is diversity ubiquitously, and everything is not equal. For instance in our own bodies there are some parts that are of more crucial to us than others. We would look after our face   as our own life, but we cut away our fingernails.   If you think simply, if this equality were literally attainable, it would then be hardly possible to sustain it. It would very easily be knocked out of this fake balance. Since, natural equilibrium in universe is not for all things to be equal.   In context to Nepal, today our country seek   moral order through communism. Because democracy has shrinkage the feeling of sacrifice; people want what they want. These days, people do frequent strike, give bribe, cuckold tax, import illegally, involve in red tape and still ask for freedom, what else do they want to plunder f...

Is it important to live in a democracy?

Is it important to live in a democracy? Abraham Lincoln- Government of the people, by the people, for the people. Rejecting this conventional definition, democracy in my view is a wretched faith in collective wisdom of individual ignorance. And the parliamentary system is simply a disguised face of totalitarianism as government move forward by counting heads instead of crushing it. However the grounded principle remains same- minor heads are ignored not because of being wrong, but because of being a minority. Democracy is systems that thrives amid the tyranny of majority and systematically marginalize the minors. Let’s view the real face of democracy in allegorical microcosm of three peopled village. X and Y collective vote retired life for themselves and working life for Z, enslaving him to fulfil their basic needs. So as per majority-made system, Z has no control over his life, his freedom and property. Z’s (one third) only duty until next election would be to serve the interes...

Fashion Politics

O ur clothes and fashion choice have   psychological meaning and implications in society. And visual transmission of our personality through clothes and fashion is universal and basic means   to define who we are.   So what does female activist view about Fashion Industry? Modern women’s predominant principle is that, women must get liberty to choose their limit and do whatever they want to do, unless they are not breaking law or encroaching anybody else right. In such context, it is not astonishing that some modern women regard Fashion as a breakthrough of feminist movement. In contrary Some feminist argue that fashion has preferred one female body perfect over all other. And peddled social tendency that a women will be unnoticed if she doesn’t were certain clothes or possess specific body type.  Models and actress are often seen in transparent attire, short clothes, backless dresses, which wouldn’t be awkward in fashion industry.   However, in s...
